Lachie Dornauf launched his career in 2016, quickly establishing himself by receiving Colliers Australian Rookie of the Year and rising to become one of the firm’s youngest Associate Directors. With an unwavering commitment to his roots, he later returned to Tasmania to contribute to his family’s third-generation dairy farm, aiding in the management of a 2,000+ cow operation.
In 2023, Lachie expanded his leadership into public service by being elected onto the Meander Valley Council, where he fought hard for the Tasmanian Agricultural sector, driving sustainable growth and local community sport and development.
After years in his family’s dairy operation, Lachie returned to the property industry as Elders Tasmania’s Head of Rural Sales. His firsthand agricultural experience, combined with Elders’ national network, ensures he delivers the best outcomes for farmers and landowners in Tasmania’s ever changing rural property market.
Outside of work, Lachie enjoys spending time with his fiancé, Ashlee, their two border collies, and coaching the Evandale Football Club.
