Doug grew up in Scottsdale and then continued his schooling in Launceston. Upon completing his Bachelor of Business at the University of Queensland (Gatton College) Doug commenced his career in property in 1996, with the Valuer General’s Office. Over time Doug grew a state-wide valuation business inpartnership with Rob Dixon and Richard Edwards. Ultimately Doug became the Regional Director of Opteon, Tasmanian’s largest Valuation business. Doug’s vast knowledge of the property markets in the North and North East have been honed over the last 25 years. Doug brings a high level of skill and understanding of the mechanics of property to his role in agency. Doug is a very approachable agent who values professionalism in his dealings. Outside of agency, Doug’s passions include family, holidaying at Bridport, coaching school cricket and personally playing a poor standard of cricket in the over 40’s competition with South Launceston.
